I find it funny how a company can release a lack luster effort of a game and then blame the series namesake for its lack of sales. Dont blame a series for your lack of innovation
@ggregd It only doesn't matter if you have no understanding or interest in history and just like to go around "shooting stuff". Playing the reenactment of the Battle of Tarawa, or the landings in Market Garden was ace stuff to me because I was interested in seeing how the battles where covered in the gaming medium. They should have not tried to copy Call of Duty, and just stayed true to the core fanbase.
@VendettaSRB Brothers in arms in NOTHING like Call of Duty 1 and 2. The gameplay mechanics are completely different. If you tried to play BIA like COD wouldn't even make it past the first mission. The only thing they have in common is they are both WWII FPS.
@Sheddius Have you actually played this game? I mean really played it? I have. Its awful! Even for a sim its awful! TONS of bugs, broken objectives. Awful. Take for example, the mission searching. You go to an objective marker, then they spawn 100 germans right ON TOP of your team with no way to hide or escape. Or give you bonus objectives that are impossible to complete in the time allowed. And thats IF you can even get the objective to trigger. Half the time the game wont let you advance or will fail your mission because you didnt follow a very strict preset path. Yeah thats realistic. Or how about mind boggling options like unlimited saves in normal and up difficulties and ONE save in novice difficulty! MAKES NO SENSE! Not to mention the poorly translated English menus. Revert and suspend my game? Dont you mean restart and quit??? I could go on and on. I swear you people who defend this game havnt even played it!
@ rockdawg Thats hopeing you even get status quo. Heck sometimes game studios go belly up before they can even get a beta patch out...take the Saboteur for example.
