Has anyone read the hands on? It seems to me like STALKER is very Falloutish.....in 3d of course.jakyl996

I've played S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and it has a post apocalyptic feel to it, but it is nothing like Fallout.  Its far more serious and more action FPS than RPG.  You fight radioactive mutants, and the enviroment is very in hospitable with "anomalies" and radioactive waste sites.  You also carry an inventory of items and you can upgrade weapons and armor, but beyond that, its not much of a role playing experience.  S.T.A.L.K.E.R. was also made in europe (by non-english speaking developers) so much of the dialog and story line have been translated and acted out very poorly for us yanks.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is a fun game, but its no Fallout ...

Back in December, Interplay (what's left of it anyway) was looking for funding for the Fallout MMO
