Judging from the retail stores I went to, I'd say that the PS3 probably outsold the 360. While the 360 has it's namesake, the fact that the PS3 is around the same price and comes with a blu ray player is a hard thing to miss. In Canada, I'd say the PS3 outsold the 360 on one simple day, boxing day, the day after christmas where the lower the prices of everything to crazy cheap. I got a 160gb non-slim PS3 with uncharted, killzone and infamous for 300. They were selling like crazy. I don't think that means that the PS3 outsold the 360 worldwide, but personally, I think it will, and it will be close nonetheless.

Riding a snowmobile through the desert...WHAT?

AAllxxjjnn
lol, Snowmobile looking thing. I'm not sure what it was, but it looks a lot like the scene from MW2 with the actual snowmobiles. So, yea, looks like a rip off. And while MW borrowed from MoH, MW and MW2 have such high presentation value, and fantastic gameplay that it's very hard to say it comes from Medal of Honor. Yes, I like the medal of honor series, but I don't think they can compare to both of the MW's.

Seriously, because a game has a vehicle sequence that makes it a rip off? This thread is so god damn ridiculous and i'm not even looking forward to this game.

No, it makes it a rip off because the sequences look identical. I understand if it has a vehicle sequence, that's fine, but when you just replace sand with snow, and call it something else, it starts to become property theft.

MoH's story is supposed to be realistic I believe. Unlike MW2 which was all over the place. And perhaps the MP will have dedicated servers, something MW2 neglected to include

Colin1192
Maybe. Those are all theoretical. I'm looking directly at the trailer and seeing how it's almost a carbon copy. I hope Medal of Honor is more down to earth, I enjoy MW style of gameplay, but some people are looking for something more realistic and it would be nice to get a modern war game like that.

all modern shooters look relatively the same.

Colin1192
Yes, but there are things that difference themselves from each other, like Army of Two, or other modern shooters. MoH just looked like MW2. Like straight up rip off. With more brown and less innovation then the first one.

Looking at the trailer, that was released on Spike TV and you can find it over at gametrailers.com, it looks like a complete rip off trying to cash in on the success of Modern Warfare and MW2. There are scenes, such as riding a snowmobile in the desert, flying an AC130 shooting people and cars, and calling in like air strikes that look like they've been taken directly from MW2. It really looks like a clone and I hope they do something new because I am a fan of the MoH series, and I loved Airborn.

Actually, Rogers, who own there own channel called Sportsnet, owns the Jays, so during baseball season they play like 128 games, which is awesome because I know exactly where to find them. But on like the main networks like CBC and TSN, they show nothing but hockey. Which is awesome, but I'd like to see a little bit of variety.

Angels, Mariners, Tigers, White Sox, or any National League team.

JohnBean42

Halladay will never go to a National League team as he hates batting. Being a blue jays fan for over 10 years, I can tell you he does not want to go to a National league team. I'd have to say the sox, yankees or LAA.

Yay, another Jays fan:D

And ya, no NL team for him. He like finishing what he started, and in the NL...well, he could be pulled early for hitting. He doesn't like that:P

That's so true, I didn't even look at it like that. I don't really care who he goes to, as long as the Jays get young, solid prospects, I'm happy. Now that JP is finally gone, we can rebuild!

I have faith in my Avs, the young guys are playing well, goaltending from Anderson has been spectacular. They need to improve their D and get a decent back up goalie (Budaj should sign with the KHL, he's terrible). I don't see them winning the division, but I believe they can make the playoffs as a wild card team. All in all the future looks bright, I went to the game on monday against the Flyers, and the team was fast and energized which was really nice to see, plus I got to see one of my favorite players Svatos drop the gloves which was totally awesome!

Oh yah BTW I won't belive in the Sharks to go anywhere till they can get past the first couple rounds, lol...I honestly don't think the Sharks will get very far unless they get a new goaltender. Nabokov is so overrated, and when the offense can't get it done or the defense has occasional lapses, Nabokov can rarely step it up. His stats are bloated cause the team in front of him plays well, but he is not clutch AT ALL.

hockey73
Yeah, the Av's are very young, and have nowhere to go but up. I think they will make the playoffs, which is good, but their not strong enough to win. Good on you for being able to get tickets to a game. Being a Leafs fan, means I have to pay huge for tickets, if I can find them. With the Sharks, I think they do have problems with winning, but not because of Nabokov. If you look at the playoff stats from last year, Thorton had like 3 points, and was a no-show, same with Devigoutchi and all their main guys. It's kinda hard to be clutch when the team in front of you doesn't show up. But with the addition of Heatley, it looks like they could really step it up, as Heatley is a big game performer. I expect them to do much better then last year.

Alright, so here are my five top questions regarding the NHL. You may not think so, but I will try and answer them. 1) Are the Av's for real? Two words: No way. They've gotten off to a 14-7-4 start, and while most people are giving them credit, as do I, there's no way they can continue. They lack the skill, toughness and goaltending to compete. Sure, they have heart, but that's not enough. Their PP is starting to show how much lack of talent they really have, as it's ranked 21st and dropping fast. My prediction is that they fall down to earth in 8th and lose in the first round. But hey, it's better then the 15th in the west most people predicted them at, so good on them. 2) Can Anze Kopitar keep this pace up? The Los Angeles Kings sniper is leading the league in points with 34. Can he keep it up? I doubt it, as Ove and Crosby are just so good, but still, except him to hit at least 90 points. He's got the talent and team to put pucks in the net, as well as the soft hands to make nice passes. While he's struggled recently, with Smyth's return in 2 weeks, except his total's to rocket up again. 3) Who is the best Rookie right now? I'd have to go with 2: Del Zotto and Tavares. Both had made huge impacts on their team, Zotto boosting the Rangers blueline and PP, and Tavares making an impact all around the ice, lifting the Islanders out of the eastern basement. Can they keep pace? Sure, I think so. Zotto looks for real and Tavares is first overall, so expect 60 points this year, and maybe 80 next year if he can avoid the sophmore slump? 4) Is Burke's plan for the leafs really working considering the season the Leafs are having? With the Leafs in 29th, it's been nothing but moral victories for the leafs. While they may be almost dead last, the rebuilding process is still going strong. With Burke tapping an untapped market in the NCAA, finding good young talent such as Christian Hanson and Viktor Stalberg, two player who are tearing it up in the AHL, it's hard to not see an impressive future. While their season is going terribly, they play much better then their record. My prediction is missing the playoffs this year, making them next year, and competing in a few years down the line. 5) At this point, who's the favorite for the Stanley Cup? Well, it will be competitive, I'll give it that. With teams in the east like Pittsburgh, Washington and the Devils, the east has a strong chance. However, with teams like Chicago, San Jose and the surprising but legit Flames, don't count out the west. The strongest teams right now would probably be San Jose and Pittsburgh. Who makes the final and who wins? My prediction is San Jose vs. Washington with San Jose taking it down in 7. Expect a good playoffs, nonetheless. If you guys agree, disagree, or have any predictions of your own, please don't be afraid to leave your comments.
