just over 75,000 now... Do I go for achievements? I did for a while but not so much anymore....but I'm happy when I unlock an achievement while playing a game.

Born in the 70s...I play all genres...here are some of my favorites:
1) FPS: Halo Reach, BF Bad Company 2. Bioshock
2) RPG:Dungeon Siege 3, Sacred 2 Fallen Angel, Fallout 3, Oblivion and Mass Effect
3) Sports: NBA2K11, Fight night series, MLB 2K series
4) Fighting: Mortal Kombat, Virtua Fighter 5, Tekken 6, MK versus DC
Etc, etc....
Mass Effect is one of my favorites series this generation HOWEVER, there is no way I would say Mass Effect 2 is the best 360 game.
If we are strictly looking at 360 exclusives, I'd have to go with Halo Reach or Tales of Vesperia.
I actually liked Two Worlds. The problem with it is that you have to TRY to like it. Once you get past the beginning and enter the code to turn of the vegetation to cut lag, it can be pretty enjoyable. Nothing compared to Oblivion, but then again it is only 5 dollars these days.
Anyways, I was very disappointed with Halo Wars. I love the Halo franchise, and RTS is my favorite genre. I was super excited when I heard about Halo Wars. Then I played it, and it was overly simple. I liked that they were trying to expand upon Halo and bring it into new genres, but I think it was done poorly. Even for a console game, Red Alert 3 and others somehow make it look like it was just rushed.
All though the worst game I played on it... Definately History Channel: Battle for the Pacific. I also avidly study history, especially WWII. They were pretty accurate I guess, but the game was not fun. At all. The levels were all the same. The controls were garbage. It was easy to beat on any difficulty, but how couldn't it be after the first level tells you what the rest of the game will be like.

I LOVED Two Worlds...so I agree with you 100%.
The worst game I played was called "Jumper"....based on some movie.
It didn't happen...judging by the reviews, you should be thankful.
I played it for the first time in about 6 months last night...and I forgot how good multiplayer is...
Well, bluntly stated, I disagree...this game was awful. Bad graphics, bad multiplayer....the sound effects were great but that's it.
It's hard to believe that my favorite Aliens game is still the one that was released on Atari Jaguar...now that was an awesome Aliens game.
Cheers,
General Luc
I finished Homefront's short campaign yet, it felt like a chore to play after Chapter 2. The storyline got flat real fast.
There's hardly anything original in the FPS genre today but, I have come to expect great graphics....especially after games like Bioshock, COD, Battlefield Bad Company 2, Halo, etc...Homefront's visuals are just awful...painful to look at.
It controls well and the sound effects are pretty good...and there was potential for the MP to be good but it ended up being mediocre at best.
There's no reason to buy a game like this when there are so many superior FPS titles out there.
In Canada, minimum purchase is 500pts. Grrr...
I have to question how all of you are so 100% sure that BF3 is going to be this flawless, once a generation game. Sure from what we've seen it looks amazing buthow much actual gameplay have you seen? About 10-15 minutes or so right? How much of that was multiplayer? ZERO! That's right..NOTTA!!! So how is it that because of some trailers you guys are so sure that BF3 will be so head and shoulders above MW3? I think that in all honesty it all boils down to gameplay preference. These games are both modern military shooters. But they take entirely different approaches to how they play.

I'm not going to say that BF3 is going to be flawless but I'll tell you why I'm all for BF3 instead of another COD.
Essentially because the Call of Duty formula has NOTchanged since the original Modern Warfare...basically the same 5 to 6 hour campaign with essentially the same multiplayer experience.
Whereas with Battlefield, every BF title this console generation has been significantly better than the other. The difference? One developer tries to improve and innovate whereas the COD devs (Infinity Ward or Treyarch) essentially deliver the same experience over and over again....
Additionally, for those who bought BF Bad Company 2 NEW at the stores, they were able to get free downloadable maps without dishing a penny. The only payable DLC maps was the Vietnam release and that was a different experience altogether. Does anyone remember how much the new COD maps cost?
Case closed....
