I had the same problem, but there is a way to work around it. Go to the qriocity website (even if you have never been to or used qriocity, it will still work) and at the log in select forgotten password, you just need to follow the forgotten password procedure.

I second this idea.

I can't even sign into my account, I get the "your password isn't valid anymore message" and then an error message and when I try to sign into MediaGo I also get the password message then it sends me to a site which is down for maintenance.

Not just a PS3 thing but it kind of relates, I like to keep my stuff (games, movies, books and even the cards in my wallet) in alphabetical order.
