I don't know why so many people are so angry about this review. She's entirely correct about the game's pros and cons. I didn't disagree with anything here. The game is unrelentingly monotonous. The zombies are interesting at first, but get tedious quickly. It's a passably interesting game but I ended up deleting it about 10 hours in. I understand the appeal of it to some but I found it to be a waste of time.
@roosteraxe1 Completely agree. The game is an impressive technical achievement but I wanted more heart and mystery. Is it weird that my favorite part of GTA 5 was North Yankton?
@ggregd @Mugen100 I bought and played the game, and I've never disagreed more with a review than this one. All she has done is undermined the site for me. I don't regard her as a reliable reviewer anymore.
@halo1399 Played it in 2 hours. There are no challenges or twists, and it has a pedestrian story not out of place in an ABC After School Special. Plus the graphics are 1990s level. The game isn't terrible but what really upset me was 1) the price, which was far too high, and 2) the overly generous review. This is max an 8 game, nowhere near a 9.5. I will never trust Ms. Petit's reviews again.
