Just picked up Madden 12 yesterday, but I have nfi really what I'm doing most of the time. I'm from Australia and all I understand about the game is you have 4 plays  to gain 10 yards or the ball goes to the other team and generally, teams only use 3 of those downs to attempt to gain yardage and save the 4th for kicking it away to the other team to gain field position.

I dont understand any of the positions other then QB, WR and C. I have no clue which plays to use, since I don't understand how to read the game, literally I know the very, very basics of the game and was hoping someone could help give me a rundown of Gridiron so it makes the game more enjoyable. Thanks.
