@tmthywtsn Mercenaries 1 was a really great Lucas arts game. One of my true favorites of all time. Of course the sequel was one of the worst a terrible game.

@PSYCHOV3N0M @ck10304 Agreed. BC 1 had a much superior campaign. And then they mucked it up by turning the campaign in BC 2 into a linear COD clone. It was still better than the campaign for BF3 though.

Don't know if I'll get this. If I had known when I got premium for $60 and that it would take up 18-20GB without the game even installed, and that none of my friends still played it after a year I probably would have passed on BF3. If I get BF 4 you can bet I will not get premium. And the BF3 campaign was terrible.

I didn't find the game as intense as Farcry 2. I loved Farcry 2 and had no issues at all with it. I agree that once you take an outpost an area becomes too easy to travel through. What killed this game for me is those dreadful load times. I beat Farcry 2 on the hardest difficulty and did all the side stuff and it was brutal but fun. I don't know if I could handle playing this on a harder difficulty because it means sitting through more load times....painful.

@salvucci91 except that Bad Company 2 was a linear bore. The first Bad Company was great, the second one....not so much. But hey it was still better than any COD or Battlefield 3 campaign.

I really enjoy the Army of Two series. And I agree that sometimes it feels like games are startig to take themselves too seriously. It is about having fun. That's why I had an issue with GTA 4, I felt it was trying to be too realistic and it lost some of it's fun. The previous games were more cartoony and I loved them for it.

I really enjoyed the Alien trilogy fps that came out on the PS1. Last I actually played an Aliens game. If I saw this for $7.99 at Gamestop(EB) I may buy it.

@TheCyborgNinja That's because the online play is the one thing Gearbox was responsible for. Gearbox developed the online play for the game(so other articles claim) and it's the only thing that is suppose to be good.

@Suaron_x Not only that I think it will force developers to insure that they are putting out a quality product. No one is going to pay full price for crap games. Hopefully it'll mean a less saturated market. I used to love FPS back in the PS2 days because they were rare, now we're so flooded with terrible FPSs that I've lost my love for them. I'm all for cheaper games but I'd rather have less games and a higher quality. Blocking used games may be good for putting crap developers out of business. Up the Irons\m/ Aces High
