Hmm...I would have to say Microsoft Golf (I think that's what it's called), for the '98 (?). It's the first game I truly remember playing, and enjoying. The first moment that I can remember as the defining point as a gamer, probably would be when the original GameBoy came out. I was about six. As for RTS's, probably Warcraft 2: Tides of Darkness. In the FPS genre, probablythe original House of the Dead(alright, so it's not technically an FPS, but close enough).
As for being a professional gamer, I would probably have to say Ocarina of Time. It's such a defining point in every single gamer's history, and it cannot be overlooked.
As for being a game developer, I'd probably have to say something newer: Geist. It was an okay game, but, there were so many things that could have been different about it.
