[QUOTE="lawman86"]I popped NHL 10 in to play last night and go into the game, and get hardly anywhere and the xbox freezes. So I restart and try again... freezes again. I tried COD:MW2 and the same thing happened... but only when I was connected to the internet. Now I have 14mbps internet so theres never a slow, laggy moment, but last night was messed. Any time anything needed to access the internet it would slow to a crawl, lag for a bit and then lock up. Now I unplugged every accessory on my 360, disconnected my wireless adapter and unplugged my ethernet (on to test it) and I could play any game or do anything non-internet related as if the xbox was brand new out of the box. Now my question is, could this be hardware related? My internet is plenty fast enough to handle online gaming, and this morning everything seemed to be fine. This isn't a sign of issues to come is it? Has anyone else experienced similar issues? Thanks!NevecLP
Seriously why does everyone worry all the time about these things? I know you've said it's fine now but a lot of internet connection issues are usually for one night. Also IT'S ONLY A CONSOLE. What if it broke, have you got nothing else to do?
Buddy, are you alright? Honestly... im asking a question to people with an intelligent answer..... like EVERYONE else that answered. What if it broke? Its people like you Microsoft must lick their chops over.... I pay good money to have these consoles, id like them to function as long as they are still current. Go do whatever it is you do, and if uselessly posting in forums not helping a sole is what you do... find a new hobby.Complete guess, but......could it be that your console is banned? It seems like if it has a problem connecting it could be a possiblility. Like I said though its a complete guess, good luck getting it fixed.Aft3rBurn3rHey thanks for the response. I highly doubt my console was banned... one reason being I haven't and won't do anything worthy of getting it banned. Also, I tried it this morning and it worked fine, both with the internet and without. I guess my overall question is whether or not this is common of a deteriorating condition of xbox 360's. Is it cause for concern? I just don't want to be happy that its fixed and then it come back and then I get slammed with a cost to get it fixed. I just friggin' bought a new year subscription to Live too!
