Wow people just dont know how software is built, shit you try and debug massive net code under heavy usage its not easy its not simple and fixes on stuff this big are usually measured in months not days or weeks

@SecularSage See i doubt that, I use linux and windows extensively but for the most part linux does not work well if you arn't capable of thinking for yourself and fixing things on your own. And lets be honest while most gamers think of themselves as techy most dont know hwo to do much. I dont see steam OS replacing any windows installations but i can totally see it being dual booted. MS will still have the majority in home computing.

@Auriken To be fair Valve has done alot for PC gaming alot of us love valve not because we love their games so much as we love their services and style. No other gaming company would release a totally open source OS or a console style box that you can pop open and upgrade add in that steam is an incredibly convenient and cheap way to pick up games and you can see why they are so popular
