@xcollector: Welcome to the Overall News of Gamespot; a sub-section of a website you can sort out by sorting your selection of news articles in drop down menus or by simply ignoring what you don't want to read just as you do with everything else on the Internet.
Too late, GameSpot, they've given up and apologized, stopped the trademarks and are telling people to contact if videos have been flagged under content ID. https://medium.com/@FineBrothersEnt/a-message-from-the-fine-brothers-a18ef9b31777#.igu9ccrj0
We of the Internet spoke. . Their subscriber count is still bleeding though if that interests you.
@heqteur: I direct you again to that link and tell you to go read the twitter of that person who is the writer they mention in this article. She also states that there will not be a reboot that' they're "Not "rebooting" anything, guys." to be precise.
Honestly, I'm not sure how happy I am about this. To be fair, if they go sequel, I hope they don't use the manga as the source, I hope they come up with something else. The manga was okay, but it could have been much better.
I'd actually prefer a reboot if I were to choose. I wouldn't' want crazy CG though. I'd want the campy stupid animatronic puppets again (I knwo they'd have to remake all of them from scratch anyway so they could redesign them some). And they could do a special thanks to David Bowie in the credits. It will never replace the original.. EVER so they shouldn't even try to make it exactly the same but they shouldn't go crazy either....
....and number 1 rule: fandom has existed since the 1990's on the movie, we're your audience.
Bring it on, buddies, I will channel my 1980's 6-yr-old self and be horrible and rage at the games once again!
*GASP!* I see what you're trying to do!! You're in it with Valve, aren't you! You're trying to get people to buy Steam controllers, rage, shatter them to bits in that fit of rage, and buy more!! I see your plan....!! You've been had!!!! j/k j/k.... but seriously, I expect rage. I played plenty of Atari, I just want Kangaroo, Freeway, Gopher, Xenophobe, Pitfall II, and Frogger 2 though. xD I know they're not all owned by Atari, though; games of those days are all in a mess of whosaredey.
