I completely agree. Like I said, they are both two of the greatest to play the game.

Absolutely, as a fan of the game it's just brilliant. Don't get me wrong though, I still want LeBron to win a title ASAP, he is without doubt one of the most important things to happen to the NBA in the last decade.

Glad we see eye-to-eye. Besides, being in Ohio, the Cavs are the only thing in proffessional sports I have to look forward to. Though the Browns have really picked up.

Ah that's so awesome, I wish I lived in the US so I could hear about the sports leagues without having to trawl the internet. From what I hear LeBron has done a huge amount for the Cavs and basketball in Ohio, as well as the league as a whole?

I can completely understand why you feel that too, so I hope that counts for something! I won't say I was disappointed, but I was underwhelmed.

[QUOTE="kruesader"]LeBron James is the better player at this moment in time (and arguably last year as well). Kobe is more accomplished and deserves every bit of respect he gets from that. LeBron won't get the credit he deserves until he wins a ring, and I think that's fair enough.rawr_xd

RabidChocobo1 seems to revel in being "hated" for being an American. He seems to enjoy feeling somewhat persecuted.

[QUOTE="travsbbygrl"][QUOTE="kruesader"]Going by the points I got for them, English, but that was because I gave up and knew it wouldn't count. Maths Methods would be mine, I quit after 6 weeks and did Maths Applied instead.

I'm great at English, I have never made anything below an A. What is Maths Methods and Applied?

I don't know what the equivalent for wherever you are, but Applied is the easiest Maths that can count towards University entrance, Methods is what you need to pass to do Engineering and such.

Nowhere, in my entire post, did i EVER indicate or suggest what you just said in your post. Stop trying to turn my words against me, because honestly, you fail at it. What i did say, however, is that it IS a stereotype. Plain and simple. And that its one that most people know about

RabidChocobo1

Well duh, thats why we're discussing it.

So how is it an 'outrage' as you described it? Why are you condemning a TV commercial showing a Australian man and West Indian (not African American) man enjoying chicken?

And by saying that fried chicken is associated with black people is showing ignorance, it is racially associated with African Americans and you're just grouping two different sorts of people with two different cultures into the same group. Ever heard of the Stolen Generations? Yeah the Aus. Government at the time thought Indigenous people were the same group of people despite them having different languages, different customs, different laws, etc.

Sounds a lot like what you're doing with grouping West Indians and African Americans together, which what happened with the Stolen Generations.

Guys, the following picture is of a west indie, not an african american.

Therefore, it can not be defined as racist

Nah, that's definitely not a West Indian cricket supporter, the gear is all wrong.
