[QUOTE="SuperMario_46"]

Doom (8.5)

Diablo (I havent play this:))

Baldur's Gate 2: The Shadow of Amn (7.5)

Quake (8.0)

Duke Nukem 3D (9.0)

Half-Life (9.0)

Magical_Zebra

Lemme make sure I understand this. If Duke Nukem 3D was released right now, you would give it a 9.0? Its no ******* way Duke Nukem 3D would get a 9.0 if it was released today. Hell it wouldnt even get a 7.5. You can actually see the pixels in all the animations. When something is killed, its body rotates with you as you run around it. This game would get a 6.5-7.0 if it was released right now. :shock:

You point out Duke Nukem using sprites, but don't point out Doom? Both games still have excellent gameplay and are fun as hell regardless.

So wait, are hermits who don't care about 360 ruled out then? How would you know someone is a cow if they say that? More exaggerated assumptions?

So, Lair is basically is just a rehash of Rogue Squadron with a dragon mod, it has a boring artstyle, the box art looks like something ripped out of LOTR, It looks like somebody poored chocolate all over it, there's no dragon radar. And there's a later mission where you have to trip At-At elephants.On the positives, motion controls are good, ground combat is satisfying, the scope is grand and ....Bio Shock rocks. That's basically all I got out of that podcast.

[QUOTE="TM_Darkside"]If it's in the "Black" world, then hell yes. TM:Black is one of my favorite games ever. Notice the screenname.moondoggey

yes m black is one of my games as well i wonder why the ps2 only made one of them on it

kool user name by the way

Because TMB2 was canned by the higher ups at Incognito because they got tired of making Twisted Metal games. That's why Jaffe is including the playable levels from the unreleased game in the PS2 port of TM:Head On.

Do realistic graphics enhance gaming experiences? It would depend mostly on what type of game we are talking about. As said before, games like Super Mario would suffer from a realistic art design because the core world that Miyamoto envishioned is the exact opposite of a realistic reality. It would ruin the atmosphere that was originally intended. Not to mention that the gameplay isn't the slightest bit realistic. Games that do benefit from realistic design are games that the core creators intended to be realistic in the first place (example would be Doom 3) and thus the gameplay follows a more down to earth formula. Elements in the game can be fantasy based, but they never expand outside of realm of believablity.

I bet the compatibility issues with the 80gig's emulation software will be fixed through future system updates (but it will probably be a slow process). With the 60 gig, pretty much every PS1 and PS2 game is playable right off the bat (only a few wayward titles don't work in their respected library) so if people care about backwards compatability and playing the latest PS3 games, the 60 is the way to go.

I don't know how you guys can say the textures suck when you can't even see the texture quality due to the video's terrible quality. The game itself looks interesting, though I hope the game isn't entirely made of dark alleyway gunfights.

[QUOTE="kniveshurt18"][QUOTE="MADVLAD123"]

[QUOTE="kniveshurt18"]The Sigma version is as exclusive to the PS3 as the Black version is to the X-box/360, meaning you can't play Black on PS3 and you can't play Sigma on X/360. The core gameplay is the same. As a VERSION of the game, it is exclusive. MADVLAD123

So you would call Guitar Hero 2 for the 360 exclusive and Resident Evil 4 for the wii exclusive as well?

What major additions did GH2 for 360 have over the PS2 version? When I say version, I'm not talking simply "nintendo, sony or microsoft" version, I'm talking about the major content additions added that make the game a seperate version of a game that was released prior. I'm not saying Ninja Giaden Sigma is a fully exclusive title. Resident Evil 4 Wii is arguable, as it provides gameplay content (using the Wii mote) that isn't available in other versions of the game.

GH2 for 360 has leaderboards, achievements, better graphics, more songs, and a different guitar controller.

Wii version of RE4 has more missions (assignment ada, separate ways) as well as better graphics, different control, and different unlockable guns and costumes.

In cases like that, then yes, I would consider those exclusive versions, not fully exclusive titles. Same with Sigma. I don't feel that games can simply be labled Exclusive or Port anymore, not this gen atleast.

But it's still the same game how does it make it exclusive, so it that means R6: Vegas and Oblivion IV are exclusive to X360 because those VERSIONS are available for X360, doesn't really make much sens

Version as in enhanced content and attributes differentiating between versions, not just consoles. Sigma isn't a straight port of Black except in the core gameplay engine and the main structure of the game but also includes content that Black doesn't have. A better example would be how MGS Twin Snakes is an enhanced(?) version only for Gamecube, while Metal Gear Solid 1 can only be played on Playstation format. Not saying it is a fully exclusive game, just that the "Sigma" version with enhanced graphics, side quests and all that make that version of the game exclusive to the PS3
