@Cbordi: I disagree, I recently watched my favorite streamer do 1st time playthroughs of Silent Hill 1 & 2. The first game is definitely rough & in need of a remake/remaster, but Silent Hill 2 totally still holds up as one of the best horror games of all time, if not the absolute best. And I am currently playing through Silent Hill 3 for the first time, and that game also still holds up. It's really only the first game that hasn't aged well.
@Sindroid: I don't know why Konami has resisted remastering/remaking the original game as it was first presented, but look at it this way: the first game has been "retold" or "reimagined" 3 times already: 1. Silent Hill Shattered Memories (Wii, PS2, PSP), 2. Play Novel Silent Hill (GBA/Japan-only), 3. Silent Hill the movie
If you're going to play King's Quest, look up the AGD Interactive remakes. Parts 1, 2 & 3 were remade in the style of King's Quest 5 & 6, and those first 3 remade games are free. This is definitely the best way to play these games!
I would also check out Broken Age, it's another great point & click adventure by Double Fine, who made Day of the Tentacle.
It's one thing to take down a digital storefront & decommission servers supporting online services. It's a whole different ball game when you are no longer able to redownload digital titles you paid for. Nintendo already did this with the Wii's virtual console/Wiiware, and it makes me not want to buy digital products from them anymore.
Interesting. I'm going to try this out. I got into Peloton about 6 months ago & I love it; it got me in great shape. Took me awhile to find instructors I like though; I didn't find it beginner-friendly at all. In the past I haven't jived well with fitness games like Eyetoy Kinetic (too hard) & Wii Fit (too easy), but maybe this will do the trick.
Many people seem to think it's Street Fighter 6 (or maybe Resident Evil 4 remake), but I'd love to see news about dormant franchises such as Rival Schools/Project Justice, Darkstalkers, Power Stone.
If it is a Resident Evil 4 remake, I hope they give us the option to play with the original script/audio. I think the cheesy one-liners/sarcastic Leon really made the game stand out. The only improvement I can think of would be to add 2-player co-op for the Ashley/Luis/Ada segments, and online multiplayer support for The Mercenaries mode. But Resident Evil 4 is pretty close to perfect as-is, and I really think a remake would make it lose what originally made it great.
