[QUOTE="tony1221"]at least the HD and dvd playing functions can be added. The new XBOX 360 got wifi, a big feature that it was missingnchan
you want dvd playback? Why? the world revolves around Blu-ray now. But yes, I would agree with you, Nintendo should just release a Wii HD, but since the wii still sells like crazy, there is no need for Wii HD from Nintendo's perspective.

Not really. From my experiences dvds still sale better then blu rays

They release a game every 2 years. They are milking it well.

SupraGT
Most games that are good have a sequel released in 2 years. Do you also consider nearly all successful franchises milked?

[QUOTE="shinrabanshou"]

[QUOTE="sireclaborn"] stop with the damage control sireclaborn

It's not damage control. It's a shipment number. :|

It will sell-through its initial shipment (it already has in Japan essentially) but there's no point pretending it's not a shipment number.

so when when ms gives out a number do you claim its a ship number as well? im just wondering because im sick of the dc from lems with the its shipped from sony but turns around their logic and says its sold form ms

I'm pretty sure Microsoft reports numbers of units sold to consumers, while Sony reports numbers of units sold to retailers.

MP doesn't look that different from Black ops. Thought it would be more old school multi-player (no aiming down sights).

It's not as if points cost them... flexin007
Not true at all. With points you buy stuff, then Microsoft would then pay the developers about 95%(my guess) of the cost. So in theory they do cost money.

[QUOTE="killev"]

ya i think its overrated a little bit. but halo reach broke all the records and it deserves to be one of the best games

Sboud

What records? I can't find anything yet that Reach has done that. I know that they have predicted that it will, and I wouldn't be surprised seeing as Halo 3 holds most current sales records, but as of yet I can't find anything saying it has. If you have a source please link cause I have been looking all day.

http://www.joystiq.com/2010/09/15/halo-reach-grabs-200-million-day-one/ Halo 3 got $170 million

Pretty solid storyline for a video game overall but...... this is a game with a 100 million dollar budget that took 10 years to release. I was hoping to be blown away by the storyline, but was sadly disappointed.

[QUOTE="Zophar87"]

You really need to play more than the first two hours. It gets a lot better, you just need to give it a little more time. Also, judging by the rest of your post, I can safely say you've never played Super Metroid.

Crystal-Rush

I'm confused. What did he write to make you think he never played Super Metroid?

Because he mentions in his first post that he's played prime 1,2, and 3. The TC made no mention to have played the previous 2d entries, and the rest of his post clearly shows a lack of this. Most people on these forums don't even know Metroid exists outside of the Prime series, and they probably don't even know that Metroid started out as a 2d side scroller. As far as I'm aware there are more 2d scrollers than there are First Person iterations

But how is that related to not liking Metroid Other M? TBH, I would be willing to bet that there are more people who played only the first person Metroid games, then those who didn't.
