On principal alone, I have no issue with them putting Nintendo games on their consoles. The issue is if such a purchase would stop Nintendo from having their own systems. Systems which have often been much more budget friendly and innovative. I don't trust Microsoft to not mess it up for everyone.
@m4a5: Microsoft has started to do what everyone was afraid they would in the early 2000s when the Xbox was announced: Flex their pocketbooks. Sony can't do the things Microsoft does because they actually have to sell games to exist and Microsoft doesn't. Microsoft can take a thousand bumps without it mattering and sell every game at a loss. I know it's not their fault that Sony can't do this, but just saying Sony is anti-consumer is not telling the whole story.
@toonami4life: This is precisely what they needed to do. Keep enough brick-and-mortar stores to still offer trade-ins, but relegate most sales to online.
