If you want to see what games will be capable of in the not to distant future check out some of the demos using the Unreal Engine 4. Graphics aside developers, don't lose sight on gameplay because that's what matters most!
I'll keep my eye on the Wii U. I definitely won't rush to buy it like I did with the Wii. Hopefully the Wii U has some sort of party system so that I can chat with friends or random people online because nowadays that should be a standard feature IMO.
This idea is a smart move by Microsoft but a dumb move from a consumer perspective.
On the MS side, this will get more people to buy a 360 who otherwise may have skipped it. It can also land them a larger profit assuming said customer makes all of their monthly payments.
On the consumer side and let's be honest here, if you can't afford the upfront cost of a 360 or any luxury item for that matter, you shouldn't be buying it in my opinion. However, if you have to have a 360, use MS's plan against them. Set aside $99 right now or however much money you want. Then each month allocate a certain amount of money to that fund. Once you reach your goal go buy yourself a 360.
Pokemon is always a great game. I don't buy them anymore but thats only because I don't have a DS. I think if they put Diamond or Pearl on the Wii VC so people with only Wiis could play it that they would probably sell even more.
Why should I buy a PS3 when I can buy a 360 and get basically the same thing? Yes the PS3 is slightly more powerful hardware wise but the graphic content you can barely even tell the difference on unless you sit there and stare.
Vista is retarded. Vista wastes more system resources than ever. Now I'll have to buy more ram probably even with 1.5gb, a better video card (dx 10 supported), and probably a new power supply to handle the video card. Vista may very well be the death of gaming for people who don't have money to spend on all the upgrades (that includes buying Vista or a new cpu with it).
