@tyrant002 Gametrailers gave it a 9.1. I swear GS seems to hate Nintendo series. Then again they gave Zelda GOTY so I never know what goes on in their heads. They also thought David Cage's last "interactive DVD" was 9. So a game with challenging platforming is a 6 and a game where you just watch cutscenes and press buttons is a 9. There you go.
@Darkreaper_1 In Colors, Unleashed, Secret Rings and Generations you just played as Sonic and you had the option to play as Tails and Knuckles in Sonic 3. Get your facts straight.
After spending 4 years with WoW, I have avoided diving into anymore MMOs. Just don't have the time.
I also wish though I know it's impossible to do but it would be great if all users across all the platforms could interact with each other. One reason WoW never went console was they had a strong PC community. A console port would've had a smaller online community to interact with. Though at least good guy Sony is making people have PS+ in addition to the online subscription but who could afford this game in this economy.
I just don't see this catching on. We've been pushing the VR thing since the 90s but once again this is another clunky piece of hardware that most people don't want to buy just like they didn't buy into 3D TVs or the Kinect. Remember we thought Kinect was awesome but then realized it sucked for gaming.
I was wondering when we would see a Feedbackula regarding Zelda as GOTY. Everyone acts like Last of Us was so great but only talk about the ending. Was there any engaging gameplay? Did you want to replay it when you were done or was it all about "cinematics" and emotions. I think good gameplay should factor in.
I think it comes down to the mere fact that old games came from a simpler time when you plugged the console in, put a game in and played. No sitting around for hours waiting for updates and installs and having to register a username. Plus old games were short but had high replay value. Seriously you all gush over Last of Us, but how many of you returned it to the store as soon as it was finished. If it was so good, why haven't you played it over and over again? Not to mention modern gaming is marred by microtransactions, fee to play, bloated cutscene heavy games with padded content and online networks full of homophobic brats screaming into headsets.
