@JayEssiambre yes, but just to play a bit of devils advocate, his articles tend to get some of the most interesting discussions going, so there is that....

@Alx1231 yeah, but this can be a pretty harsh "community". however, i have to admit, comments on this site are a far cry above the trash one sees on IGN. i can't even be bothered to make an account on there to spar with those buffoons.

@gouldjw hmmm. and you know he is a "failure as a man" because somehow you know him personally? best to keep the low blows based on the topic at hand, rather than trying to switch up the battlefield, eh?

@JustPlainLucas @Blue-N-Yellow i can get behind that comment. i have found the "new super mario" series to be so underwhelming. there is no excitement like when i played super mario world for the first time and just knew it was going to be somethign so epic (which it was). i bought a wii, and wanted SO badly to like it, but they just kept on churning out the same old same old, and the third party support was terrible. i dont have lots of money, so i need to have my core system be the one that gives me the most types of games i like to play, and unfortunately, that has meant leaving mario and his gang behind, because there is just not much outside their old line up in the way of new IP's that make nintendo vital anymore.

@Stevieweiser yes, i agree fully with your comment. i also started gaming on the NES in 1987, and now i am practically a senior citizen by gamers standards, and with that comes changing tastes. i don't need more mario rehashes, etc.

@Reavingangel @PKMaxx indeed. besides, no one is saying that people should not be able to possess firearms. i live in canada, and yes, believe it or not, we also have this right, but we dont make nearly as big of a deal about it. i think the restrictions should be higher is all. my friend has a few guns, and they are all trigger locked, with the ammo locked in a seperate place. and he doesnt even have kids. responsible people can, in fact, properly store and care for firearms.
