@mwsmt Because EA likes to cut the majority of their games' online capability mere years after releasing them, and not to mention when their online system goes down or hiccups like any other online DRM, you can't play the game you spent your hard earned dollars on.
Most of us aren't willing to take that risk, especially with an atrocious company like EA.
I know people with many Facebook accounts and actively use them for gaming purposes. I read the article, and I'm not convinced that Facebook has 1billion users.
1 billion accounts I can understand, but I doubt they've got a sophisticated enough algorithm to determine how many actual users are on there, separate from the number of accounts registered. They would have a hard enough time determining who has more than one account.
Won't be surprised if Sony shut down the development studio of TLG at some point, especially if the situation looks so adverse that they can't make a profit on it despite the long ass development time.
Afaik, the ICO and SOTC games weren't commercially successful.
The U part in WiiU looks like sexual intercourse to me. I guess they're relentlessly trying to drive home a message that the console is seriously catered to mature audiences.
