Disclaimer: I disliked oblivion, and worship fallout 2, so i may be a little biased.
The music reminds me of Oblivion, and not fallout. Imagine if mario got a different kind of music. Classical music scores belongs in oblivion not Fallout.
The voice acting is horrible, Liam Neisen isnt even well directed, and every character is a total stereo type.
Skills aret used the "fallout" way. In fallout you can try to pick any door, even if your skill is 0...youll jam the lock or something worse...in Fallout 3, you need a certain skill level to try and pick...its unrealistic because it takes choice away from your character. Also the picking system is just rediculous: put skill points in your skill so you can earn this minigame!!...thats lame
Vats is great...action points should have been scraped, just let me aim and shoot, re earning action points is SO dumb...it actually breaks the gameplay completely since manual aiming is horrible...if i didnt have to come out of vats for anything other than movement, the game would have been perfect.
houses...its weird you can have a house since half of the point of fallout is that you have left your home of the vault...horrible design decision.
Weapon repair....i mean how much like oblivion does it need to be?
Computers...sigh...every person with a pc in this world seems to only use that computer to write their down their thought about other people in the community...hmmm, thats dumb as hell
radio loops too much, ive heard those 5 songs a billion times
no viable 3rd person way to play the game...bethesda said there would be one
the game isnt funny...the original fallout had a great sence of humor
the begining vault sequence takes forever, boring and pointless... 1 hour is too long.
groutesque deaths are dumb...the original fallout was a lot more subtle...in this game every head blows apart, and the raggdoll effects are horrible.
so thats enough whining out of me, im going to go play fallout 3...
