@bumholegolfclub: I don't think I missed the point of the movie; I think the movie never arrived at that point. Yeah, she lost her identity, but upon regaining the memories, nothing really happens. The movie ends. There's a lot the movie COULD have said about a Japanese woman being robbed of her identity by a foreign corporation, but it didn't say any of those things, because the movie was already over.

@Reuwsaat: Thank you!! A lot of people ask me for FMA-likes, and I always have such a hard time since FMA is basically perfect. x_x Maybe I'll do a feature on it one day!

@mari3k: I didn't include Clannad: After Story because it comes with homework (watching Clannad first). And although not all romance is shoujo, I wouldn't say they're completely different genres. There's a lot of overlap. But that's also why something like Sailor Moon isn't on this list when Nozaki-kun is.
