I was just watching a user review on Assassins Creed, and he was talking about linear-like gameplay, and it made me think...

Lets face it. Gameplay sucks in too many games. Whether its glitches, or its the same ol routine. I play a lot of FPS's, and other then shooting and throwing grenades or climbing ladders, you never do anything other than that...

IMAGINE...

You know that part in Far Cry, where you come up from under the boat near the beginning to the top where a helicopter was and the two "draw bridges" at the far end and the dingy you had to shoot down to drop in the water to get away?

Well when you come up the ladder and the helicopter comes up and its in front of you, why not have an action where if the chopper is close enuff, you can jump to it, kill the guy at the gun, take CONTROL of the gun, and blast the guys on deck, or you could jump to the water to get away, maybe... ah... kill or throw the pilot out of the chopper (to deck or water depending on chopper location), or take control of it, or even jump back to the deck while the pilot tries to flee or shake you.

Now come on, if you could do stuff like that...

Imagine...
