@WarFox89: No Reset Outpost Mode in Far Cry 5. Outpost Master just isn't the same.

I also prefer Far Cry 4 over Far Cry 3 because of the many improvements over the earlier game. Most seem to have left that out.

@spaced92:

If fans are showing their love for New Vegas, they sure as hell didn't show it with their wallets. I did even though I had my gripes about the game.

@bongaconga:

Cars are a poor choice to compare to video games. A big factor in cars are looks and condition. New Vegas was one butt-ugly game even when it first released.

The big thing proponents liked about New Vegas was the choices and consequences. I did all that in my playthrough and.....shrug. Oh well. At least, I liked New Vegas better than FO3 which was even butt-uglier than New Vegas..

Up to a few weeks ago, I was playing Fallout: New Vegas for most of the year. With the major "bad guy" characters in the game dealt with, I know I'm nearing the end of the storyline campaign.

New Vegas was okay. If there is ever a remake using a modern engine, I'd buy it (along with Fallout 3). But, quite honestly, I still like Fallout 4 better. I'm not a purist. So, it doesn't matter to me if Fallout 4 feels less of an RPG than the other two Bethesda Fallout games. As a game, I prefer Fallout 4. I've certainly put in more hours in it than Fallout 3 and New Vegas combined.

Cool. I'm not normally one for Far Cry DLC. But, I might buy this one.

My favorite weapon is the M60 with scope and silencer. It's belt-fed and hard-hitting. Plus, the ammo lasted a while in between reloads. It was very useful against hordes of cultists and angels. I was happy to acquire one early on. It's not terribly accurate at medium to long range. But, I was being outflanked most of the time. At close range, the M60 mowed down groups of 3 or 4 cultists no problem. Then, I can reload at leisure while waiting for the next group to close in. Once I got a scope for it, I can take out helicopter pilots with a burst.

I'm currently playing Fallout: New Vegas which feels like an improved Fallout 3. I prefer New Vegas over Fallout 3 not just because I'm from Nevada. The color palette in New Vegas is better than Fallout 3's which seemed to have mostly varying shades of green (BLEH).

Some made a big deal of the decision making on New Vegas. I wasn't too deep into it. If the decision-making dragged on too long. I cut it short and went on with the game. For example, in the Lonesome Road DLC, As soon as I saw Ulysses, I trained my best weapon on him and eventually killed him. I wasn't in the mood to be philosophical. Then, I used his nukes to vaporize the Legion. No more problems with Caesar. Then, I took out Mr. House upon returning to The Strip. I still got some unfinished quests. But, with the top leaders dead, I get the feeling the game will be ending soon.

@mattcake:

I remember the original Quake before the GLQuake patch was released. In software mode, 640x480 yielded 20-25 fps with the fastest CPUs. There was an option for 320x240 to increase the framerate. But, it was so pixelated in turn.

@dmblum1799: The Montana sticks are quite different from the Appalachian scenery of the Hatfields and McCoys.

Just because Ubisoft made the choice to transplant the latter into Montana doesn't make it the norm for the place.

@neprisistates:

What liberals? This is more like the Republicans in Montana vs the extreme right. If Ubisoft was pushing a liberal agenda, there would be loud-mouthed protesters with their picket signs or maybe PETA protesting buffalo-hunting..
