My first impressions of GRWL is that the Division has found a new home outside.

In classic Ubisoft manner, they have given players an overwhelming assasins creed unity esq, to do list of soulless objectives. I found myself, skipping cutscenes instantly with absolutely zero connection to npcs or plot.

Though the squad based tactical aspect and combat are seemingly well done with an attention to detail graphically that is quite impressive, the game gives me the sense that I've already seen it all in the first few hours.

I think this is surely a game you must play with friends and I wonder if they are simply going for the destiny like longevity they may have missed with the Division.

Unfortunately, like the Division, I am rather pessimistic about any rewarding endgame and the journey there met with disappointment and a bland taste at my fingertips.

Ubisoft would be wise to ditch this skin and perhaps go with a tactical sci fi based shooter with all of GRWL elements. I feel that in an alternate realm, the enemies, endgame, variety, story, and npcs would all gain what is lost in the repetitive nature of some of their games over the last few years.

The game is very well done, beautiful, and detail unmatched by many, but ever since assasins creed black flag and unity, the map point to do list has grown into a shell of meaningless chores in my opinion.

Some may find enjoyment with friends, the tactical shooter aspect, gear upgrades, but personally I find myself reaching for a story and meaning that isn't there
