i don't need those peripherals to have a great pc experience neither some programs they've mentioned , i would recommend to pc gamers just to upgrade their components (don't go cheap with the vga) and download the latest drivers and install it in a proper and resource saver system, that's all :)...

Instead of a qx9650 in the high-end config i would recommend a q9550 since theres not a significant difference between those processors in terms of gaming performance and also you save a lot to spend on other cimponents lets say maybe 3gb ddr3 ram!. Ive always thought that the cpu market makes us believe we need that kind of processors , nowadays the future of computing is the gpu...

mmm.. in my opinion theyre comparing 2 different (too diferent) hardware configurations as they have a 8600gts form nvidia in the (recommended system) and a 4870x2 (high end sys) , lets be fair and compare either ati or nvidia on both configurations, also i noticed a lack of info on both system ram configurations , because i dunno if they are comparing 2gb ddr3 with 2gb ddr2 .
