@gintoki: sure man, always be skeptical, thats a good way to look at it. The Battlefront review was probably fine, but it just praised things that I don't care about: multiplayer game modes, multiplayer map design, weapon balance, leveling up. No matter how good all that stuff is, that's not what I look for in any game, Star Wars included.
@gintoki: GameSpot is obviously paid for advertisements, and even to make promotional content (which is disclosed). If you honestly think they're getting paid to give games better review scores, I don't know what to tell you, except that they aren't. I don't even work there anymore.
@gintoki: I never said I liked Battlefront. You may be tagging me because I like Star Wars... Battlefront looked good but there was nothing lore-related in it that interested me. I didn't play it for more than 20 minutes. I couldn't really give a damn if they make a sequel, but if they do I hope they decide to make compelling stories and characters.
@mtippins: My bad! I know who he is, I've seen Ip Man, I just have bad memory. I'm bad with names which is understandable but feel terrible for calling him Japanese, especially having seen Ip Man. My apologies.
@daBrokenFace: there is good looking stuff like Elite: Dangerous and the Portal demo, as well as Adrift. But yeah, most of the games I've played are a little more bare looking. I assure you though, this game was really fun.
