@GameSpot: I love having the physical copies!

I have been with Gamespot for just under 11 years. I love this site and I consider it a premiere gaming web site. Now that you have revisions for users of the Gamespot community (Which is good) I feel that there needs to be revisions for the reviewers and guide lines set for them to follow when reviewing the game.

The many changes are the root cause of Carolyn Petits review of GTAV and the feedback that he received warranted and unwarranted. The main reason was his personal, political Agenda being pushed into the review. This is something that needs to stay out of game reviews. In GTAV everything was targeted not just women.

I suggest the following:

-          Hire reviewers based on the Genre/system they prefer and are familiar with

-          Rate the following: Gameplay, Graphics, Sound ETC.

-          Base the review on the game and NOT personal Agenda

-          How the game compares to its previous installments if applicable.

The above is a good foundation to get back to proper game reviews that are based solely on the game itself.
