Okay, so I recently decided I wanted to start playing Halo 3 again, in preparation for reach I guess. Well I signed on and wanted to play team swat, but now it's telling me I can't because I don't have all of the map packs. Wellllllll from what I remember, I never needed to buy anything in order to play team swat before, it was always playable. So are they are really telling me that I have to spend money on maps i don't need just to play a game mode I use to be able to play for free, thats IN the game? Way to go Bungie. I'm looking forward to Reach of course, but if they pull that bull again and tell me I can't play a game mode when I spend 60 dollars on the game anyways. I think I should probably get everything in the game right? Haha.

[QUOTE="jonnyglitch8"]Hey guys, earlier today I was playing, and I came across a chest and I opened it and I randomly got an avatar award of a red t-shirt with the red dead logo on it. It said I got it for "telling someone I'm a fan of red dead redemption." I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this happen to themAndrn
Was it the chest in the burned down house at Riley's Charge? That's supposed to happen.

yeah it was! Well okay cool, it was just really random haha

I'm not a huge fighting game player, but I do enjoy a good fighting game with my friends from time to time, and i'm just looking around for a really good one. So far the best looking one i've seen is Super Street Fighter IV, but i'm just wondering if it's the best choice for a fighter on 360, or are there other, better choices?

IGN REVIEW IS IN!!! 9.7! That's an amazing score for them. They State, " Red Dead Redemption is a must-play game. Rockstar has taken the Western to new heights and created one of the deepest, most fun, and most gorgeous games around. You can expect the occasional bug or visual hiccup, but you can also expect a fantastic game that offers the Western experience we've all been waiting for. Red Dead Redemption is a complete game in every sense -- both the single player and multiplayer modes are excellent -- and still manages to offer an attention to detail you rarely see from a game of this scope." I. Can't. Wait. Anymore.

So the New York Times has posted a review of the game, with no set score (so sorry for people who hate to read and base everything on a number haha). They stated that : 'One of the buzzwords in the game industry these days is immersion. Rockstar scoffs at that. Red Dead Redemption... does not merely immerse you in its fiction. Rather, it submerges you, grabbing you by the neck and forcing you down, down, down until you simply have no interest in coming up for air.' They also state that "for all of its technical achievement and gorgeous landscapes, Red Dead Redemption is perhaps most distinguished by the brilliant voice acting and pungent, pitch-perfect writing we have come to expect from Rockstar". GOTY definently. Somehow I always knew it would be.

[QUOTE="jonnyglitch8"]Btw. Is it just me or have none of the reviews so far even mentioned multiplayer? Or am I missing something?CodingGenius
It might be tough for them to fully critique it, since there are only a limited # of people playing it prior to its release (a small # of journalists).

Yeah, that's true. I guess it was more me just hoping for an in-depth look about the unlocks, leveling, modes, etc.
