Why are people responding to this statement as if it is being handed down from on high - EA is a company, not some sort of market regulator that can dictate what games of the future will be like. If you don't like F2P, don't play the games. Once EA and Ubisoft realize that there is no profit to be made in this sector they'll return to making the kind of games that the market dictates and not the other way around. Seriously, some of these companies need to remember that they need us - we don't need them. If the market doesn't agree with Mr. Moore, he'll see his stock tank. Simple.
