Update On The Last Guardian After E3 2013.

In a Interview with CVG, they spoke to him about the PS4 and of course The Last Guardian.

And Yoshida confirms yet again that the game is still in development, also last year he was saying it's still in development for PS3 but this year when asked and even on IGN podcast he doesn't answer when if it's on PS4 now, Sony could show the game at TGS, I will wait forever, I am destined to play this game.:P

Taking a break from Gamespot.

This place has become quite boring, no real discussions, all fanboys and playing sales, what a disaster.

And unions dying, i'm thinking of moving to a better site like Neogaf for some real discussion and i will be back sometime when Tokyo Game Show has started to see what Sony has to show and will probaply post at unions that are alive and not hiding out there somewhere and playing the internet war.

Anyway believe in Fumito Ueda and Team ICO to deliver another masterpiece for us fans to enjoy and don't give up and keep hyping the games you want.

Good Day Team ICO fans and gamers in general.

My opinion on why its taking so long to release TLG, and release date.

First of i'd like to start by saying i believe this game will probaply never be what Ueda imagined, his vision sounds like it can't be achieved on the PS3 or dony isn't even allowing him for some reason, so maybe Sony is doing like Nintendo? remember Twilight Princess? made for Gamecube and then for the Wii, so this might release on PS3 and PS4.

I heard that Sony forced ueda to add MOVE to the game so maybe he was upset and he left or maybe they were rushing him or he read something on sites about people predicting the ending being sad so he decided to change everything, whatever happend it has nothing to do with his team but he is difinetely hard to work with, as Yoshida said" Ueda's san vision is causing a very difficult task for the team"

Sony said technical difficulties that is why they are not showing it and when its ready they'll show it, so is it the AI of the Trico? cause in the collection interview ueda said " well now with the last guardian we have important AI characters, like in ICO it was Yorda, and shadow it was the colossus, and for TLG its the creature"

Also he said i don't want the trico to be a tool to be used by the player just to advance through the game and he also said we have been expereminting on how to create more releastic visuals and atmosphere, now with the playstation 3 we can do thing we couldn't do before.

Lol of course you can do now things with the PS3 you couldn't do on the PS2 :P, i think team ico just pushes the hardware and always asking what if i do this, what if i did that? they said we were already doing crazy things on ICO when it was in the PS1.

On the PS2 we weren't able to have hair move in the wind like the PS3, along with the improvement with the hardware from the PS2 to the PS3, the things we want to do will also increase and it allowas us to be more creative..

But back when we were working on ICO the whole team didn't have much experience in video game production, so we were trying to achieve impossible things, i also feel our work hasn't changed that much, we have always been pushing the limit of the hardware, with the PS2 it was pretty clear what you could do and can't do, but now with the PS3 its so much power, so much potential, its easy to keep thinking what "if" ?

I simply think they got too ambitious and excited for the new hardware that they tried to do too much, but hopefully with Santa monica studios they are able to find more releastic solutions.

Also hear this.

The last guardian is in a way more challanging than ever before, of course ICO and sshadow were challanging, we had some tough times.

As with ICO, this game is an adventure, an adventure with an AI character, that you can communicate with through words, language is even more important in TLG than ICO, cause animals can't talk, because of that the story where its about emotions not words, we have to make the creature very realistic, as much as possible, the level design shouldn't seem too functional or rational, it has to seem like a natural part of the atmosphere, and th world like its been like that forever, obviously we need to do the level design but we didn't want our user to know the intent of the designer, it has to feel natural, the levels shoudn't feel designed.

I think that's what we are spending most of our time on right now, i think being unpredictable, giving the game unpredictability is key for the last guardian,just by their precence alone the AI characters tend to invite unpredictable situations, that was on purpose.

So after what you have just read, be patient TLG is coming, i am %100 sure it will be another masterpiece by team ico and maybe or maybe not it will be destroyed by critics and gamers, who knows? but i do know that no way it won't be an amazing game and people comparing it to Duke Nukem, shame on you for comaring such a crappy game and developer to team ico and you can't rush perfection.

Also i feel the development started in late 2007 or first of 2008, before that it was understanding hardware, working on the engine? and levels , story etc, the real development started in 2007, also i feel they shouldn't have revealed TLG very early.

A game as ambitios as TLG is going to going to take a ton of work and have some delays, its coming and it will be amazing.

oh and release date is October 2013 is what i think, sony show the game at TGS and other confrences please. also it will probaply release at the ps3's end like the ps2 with shadow and GOW.

For the people getting the team ico collection.

A boy with horns guides a mysterious princess through a desolate land, all the while fighting off shadow creatures with a stick., if you haven't played this game, you're missing a true ****c. Buy it, finish it, and then go play Shadow of the Colossus

You may not like ICO, you have to protect yorda most of the time and might get a little frustrated, be patient.

Also this is the european version which means you get a different ending than the american version.

And in this version there is a 2 player mode, you can play as ICO and the other player plays as yorda, and its Eye-co (ico) not eco.

Some puzzles are hard to beat and made me scratch my head a little, but i got around it and completed the game and beated the queen of darkness.

You can use other weapons not just the stick, you can find in the game.

The atmosphere is amazing and really sucks you in.

If you're like me you'll want to protect yorda with your life its a difficult mission and enemys on be more than 5 on screen, i think i fought 7 once ? :P

As you progress enemys will be tough and hard to beat, you can escape of course. alright enjoy ico i won't spoile more :P

As for Shadow Of The Colossus i can't remember much :P.

but i'll just post this and enjoy kicking some colossus ass ;).

It received wide critical acclaim by the media and was met with strong sales compared to Ico, due in part to a larger marketing campaign, and the soundtrack was widely praised. It won several awards for its audio, design, and overall quality. Shadow of the Colossus is also referenced numerous times in debates regarding the art quality and emotional perspectives of videogames.

You have to play this game. you understand the love:x.

And sad news TLG won't be at TGS this year :(, but let team ico take their time with it, you can't rush perfection you know 8).
