I don't see any problem with having celebrities in games. The early GTAs had a lot of celebrity guests voicing the characters.

James Rolfe. He has some good insights into gaming and the videos he does with Mike are always fun to watch. I've been watching a lot of BlueTelevisionGames lately too.

Why are we giving Sports Games a free pass ?

Don't like the we part of the header, it implies everyone contributes to these simulators_

Unless Punch-Out on the Wii counts as a sports game (boxing) I don't think I've ever invested in one. They're simulators that usually give players the illusion of playing a game but are really telling players to string poorly implemented QTEs and holding down a button to watch the game play itself in animation strings that look clunky and unresponsive. However this is what many people invest in, usually the card pack micro transaction model. And that's fine, simulators are pretty awful but it's the customers choices in what they spend money on (And I'm guilty of investing in a similar model of collectible card games)

Suppose I have bought wrestling games before but it's not a sport. It is bodybuilders (also not sportmen/women) doing risky stunt acting. That's why most the success ones try to be actors or weight trainers later.

Fire Pro Wrestling is awesome though, highly recommend it. No micro transactions.

+1 for Fire Pro Wrestling. I got the latest one on PS4 and it's a lot of fun to just download the community creations and simulate matches.

Sometimes I'll beat it and move on straight away but other games, I'll take my time and relish

There's gotta be at least a million at this point. Maybe even two million if you count indies/freeware games.

I agree on Spiderman 2. A few others I enjoyed are Lego Harry Potter, King Kong, The Godfather and Batman Begins.

The only Bethesda games I've played are Oblivion and Skyrim but I think their world building is good. Tamriel is one my favourite open world maps to explore.

Handheld wise, I'm playing Pokemon Sigma Emerald mostly (an Emerald hack which improves the game) as well as replaying Ocarina of Time 3D. I got Red Dead Redemption 2 on PS4 recently so I plan on starting that soon.
