The cast has done funny stuff in the past, but I couldn't even make it through the first trailer. It was so bad. And then they doubled down by shaming people who didn't like the trailer.
Hopefully the people that are making this new movie don't make the same mistake.
They'll need great villains; Ronny Cox and Kurtwood Smith played awesome bad guys in the first one. You really wanted to see RoboCop enact brutal justice on them.
RoboCop 2 was okay. I thought the villains were weak, though. Tom Noonan usually played great creeps but he was kind of dull in this movie, and that kid drug kingpin did nothing for me.
Peter Weller was missed as RoboCop/Alex Murphy after the second movie. He *was* RoboCop.
The 2014 movie wasn't terrible, but I knew when it ended I'd never watch it again.
I guess I'll end this by giving my thoughts on a new sequel: "I'll watch THAT for a dollar!"
This game looks/sounds like it was conceived by an angsty teenager with "cool" ideas of what Hell would be like and what would be there.
The original Painkiller had a very interesting Hell level. I thought it was pretty clever, and wasn't your typical fire and brimstone interpretation of Hell.
Agony doesn't seem like a good game, but I might get it in an indie bundle a year or two down the road after they've patched it a few times.
