So now we have conservative state governments deciding who or what can use a women's body without her consent?

Does anyone not understand how fascist and dangerous that is?

@joebones5000: I do not see the logic in equating the interpretation of an unenumerated right to a construct that's explicit. Nor do I see the value of fear mongering and pandering to MSNBC talking points.

I don't know anything about msnbc, but losing one constitutional right certainly means its possible to lose another. I am not in support of the loss of a constitutional right based on extremely bad reasoning, which at this point seems to be religious or emotional. I don't know. Maybe that doesn't make sense to some people?

@Maxpowers_32: this has already been explained. The right is comically absurd. It's no one else's fault but the right. There is no corollary to the absolute that is the right wing in this country.

What in the world are you talking about? Are you an NPC? No matter what I say you're response is that "the right is comically asburd, the left is all wonderful people with nothing funny whatsoever". How is it that commentators on the internet and everyday Americans find comic gold with the idiotic democrats? You're saying that the late night comedians are so closed minded that they can't find anything on the left that's funny? What has the right wing done that you find more comically absurd than opening pushing for socialism, violence and destruction of all those they disagree with, constant climate doomsday clocks, infinite genders, calling everyone and everything racist (things like math, trees, milk, every holiday), intense hypocrisy on pretty much every issue, political correctness and 1984 style newspeak, etc. Is it really funny to take quotes or clips from Trump or other republicans out of context yet again?

What answer do you want? If the truth isn't good enough for you, then concoct some bs that will make you happy. Don't blame me for the right being so comically absurd.

@joebones5000: Constitutional right, yes, however it is not inalienable. A legal right and a natural right are not always equal.

So voting for republicans means the end of a constitutional right for women. That's a slippery slope that could be applied to the legal right to bear arms as well. I wonder if republicans are sure they really want to start stripping women of constitutional rights.

@vl4d_l3nin: look up the second amendment. Nowhere does it mention individual gun ownership as a right.

You're making a horrible argument. Not everything has to be spelled out in the Constitution to be a right.

@Vaasman: nope. Atheist and agnostic are not mutually exclusive. Agnostics are Agnostic atheists. Sorry, but words have meaning,. You don't get to redefine them.

It's not binary though, it's a scale, and belief in presence or absence of god(s) is only one part of it. Strength of faith, gnostic vs agnostic, being the second. This is especially true for theism, as the degree you feel the existence of god is known, can wildly shape your belief system. Strong agnosticism rejects the faith required for either concept, based in the stance that the presence or absence of godlike beings is inherently unknowable.

Here is a read for you.

It's a simple concept. I am not so sure why so many here refuse to understand their own language.

Belief - a state or habit of mind in which trust or confidence is placed in some person or thing

Theist - a person who believes in the existence of a god or gods

Athiest - a person who does not believe in the existence of a god or any gods

agnostic - a person who holds the view that any ultimate reality (such as God) is unknown and probably unknowable broadly : one who is not committed to believing in either the existence or the nonexistence of God or a god

OK, so there we go. If you are agnostic, you are not committed to a belief of a god, thus you do not hold the belief in a god, right? If you do not hold a belief in a god, you are an atheist, by definition.

Whether you or the other guy quoted here like it or not, the words in English have meanings.

@npiet1: ok, so you insult and deflect instead of using rational argument.

You had one simple thing to do, show everyone which god Agnostics believe in if they are not atheist, as you claim. You couldn't, so you resort to insults. Typical.
