@Paulf001: Good, in my mind, the TLJ's my least favorite of the Star Wars films. It's just all over the place and filled with silly humor/jokes and just boring actors. Captain Phasma was completed wasted.
Ewan Mcgregor as Obi vs Grievous (and a terrific voice actor) went so very very well. But we got none of that. Even the Pratorian seen with Driver/Ridley, had too many fast cuts and back and forth. They should have done it all in one shot.
@ericthegreat: Nice summary. Agree 100% with everything. Having just watched the Nolan Trilogy in 4K, I can't believe just how bad 2nd in this latest trilogy was. I was really hoping for ren to become a jedi with rey whilst trained by Luke. Then that would leave a slot for a few REALLY good sith like dooku or vader or maul. But nope...screaming child again, killed off luke, made him look stupid, jarring editing...just awful stuff.
@JosephDMcDaniel: That's exactly how I felt. I waited too long and walked into a theater with TLJ playing on the smallest screen in a packed theater. It was a fitting setting for what I thought was the most jarring and all over the place Star Wars film.
I have a lot of trouble playing these movies on a MacBook in safari. They play fine in chrome and the works out because I end up casting them to my tv, but I would still ike to view them in safari. Any ideas?
