For people that actually have this game, how much is compression of this video hurting the comparison (assuming I run this video at 1080 and HD quality)?

I ask because whenever I see those Bose speaker commercials, their speakers don't sound any better than my junky TV speakers! Get it?

It's the same PR crap they've been shoveling for years. Usually followed by an letter to investors saying that they sold X pre-order units therefore the product is a huge success.

@saltlife225 @amorrell14 Which is exactly why a change of focus to gaming results in the loss of entertainment features. Unsurprisingly, typical gamers want to use the XB1 to play games, not watch exclusive TV shows. This news is only shocking to the previous XB1 management staff. The current staff knows this and has decided to "just deal with it" and focus on games.

@amorrell14 Apparently you missed the announcement where they closed Xbox Entertainment Studios resulting in the lose of tv content and entertainment (Blake's 7 would have been an instabuy for me). So now that your statement is proven false, will you reverse your opinion about the change in focus of MS with respect to XB1?

Buy based on what is on the shelf not based on what is promised in a press conference. If you bought a XB1 based on last years press conferences, you'd be pretty sad that the entertainment box you were promised is turning into a gaming only box.

I was slightly interested in Watch Dogs. Now with the Uplay requirement, I'm not really interested at all. I have enough great games left to play that don't require Uplay so I won't bother with anything that does.

I'm sure it works most of the time for most of the people. That said, there is no need for me to take the chance of being one of the few that it fails on.

w.r.t. Kinect. It is just being used as a microphone anyway, why don't they release a much cheaper version without the camera/motion capture part?

I like how the last two paragraphs compare the new titles in one month of PS+ to all the titles for 2 months of GwG.

Goes to show you how much GwG lags behind PS+ on titles alone. GwG is still missing the extra discount on sales that PS+ gives along with the other minor extra bits.

It really seems like MS just doesn't have any idea how to do gaming. The single best thing they do is throw buckets of money at companies to get exclusivity for games.

@Aleperez75 I could see that. If I liked it a lot on the PC but wanted to game on the big TV in the living room, then I could see going for the game on XB1.
