I'm more than familiar with survival games and what they're trying to do; it's why I asked (yes, I asked) to review Conan Exiles in the first place. It's just that in this case, regardless of how popular the game obviously is, I don't think Conan does anything as well as it could do it.

I don't agree that not having tutorials or basic explanations of mechanics are key to a game being a successful survival game. There is a balance to be found between making a game challenging versus it becoming banal busy work, and for me Conan consistently falls on the busy work side of the fence.

It's part of the job :)

@feralripper: It's there, but thats about I can say about it. I tried a few times but no one else was around during pre-release unfortunately.

@canarsie: No Problem! You can play as a character Titan only if they're in your group, but it's so rare I didn't feel it was worth mentioning. Can definitely still do it though!
