I really like the idea and all, but I can't imagine this console getting much good content. I expect it'll be a few ports, a few indie games, and the inevitable Minecraft, and interest will quickly fade once people see the games they're really looking forward to being released on the mainstream platforms.

@Earthen80 I use a Mac and I think many Apple products are rubbish. Quit generalising, as you clearly know nothing.

Having played both versions, I have to say that the Xbox version seems to be geared more towards children. It's constantly popping up with hints, explanations, and there is no need to figure out how to craft as it gives you all crafting recipes. Also, most of the game seems to be missing. It's like Minecraft lite with training wheels.

@GrgSpunk That's nonsense. They may be worthless to you, but they've inspired a huge community of modders who are constantly coming up with cool new stuff that only the PC gamers will be able to take advantage of.

Also, most of your post is whining about the problems with multiplayer. On the larger servers, without mods people's stuff would be getting destroyed and nobody would want to play at all. There is nothing to stop people doing that on the Xbox. My server has no modifications and uses a whitelist instead, and works absolutely fine. You just haven't looked hard enough.

I think a Gamespot server is a great idea, as long as only trusted members are allowed to log on. I seem to get an infraction every time I post, however, and so I doubt I would be permitted to join.

SaurabhAV, funny how you call Nintendo's motion-sensitive controller a gimmick, yet you call Sony's motion-sensitive controller (that performs exactly the same function as the Wii's controller) a controller. Do I sense a bias? You should also note that the Wii is 4 years older than Playstation's Move, so an upgrade is of course needed. Perhaps you're just a bit sour that Nintendo is miles ahead of Sony in terms of human-computer interaction.

You're probably just resentful as the success of the 3DS shows that nobody gives a crap what score Gamespot give to a game.

I bet some idiot is going to buy this. I guess some people are just too busy with their childish 'Sony is the best, Nintendo and Microsoft suck' fanboy chants to see through this obvious marketing ploy aimed at the idiots and the people that just buy to boast.
