This is indeed a really annoying but that I encountered myself. I've been searching for a patch onlyine that would help fix the problem but haven't had any luck so for. It really is a major bug in the game.

Games like this will never die. It was a perfect idea perfecly executed. A massive thank you to the developers who helped make this game as close to perfection as possible. We should really see a reinstallement.

Interesting idea. Just started playing Team Fortress 2 recently for the first time (yeah, weird, I know...). The stats multiplication for weapons is something I am really interested in so thanks for posting this.

This is certainly a bug. I got the game and playing it for the first time and I'm facing the same issue as you. It is really annoying but I'm gonna look for a patch or something. After so many years, someone must have come up with a fix for this.

I am encountering the same problems on a PC system similar in specs to what you are using. The only workaround I found to solve the issue was installing Windows 7 and running the game on it. It now works smoothly.
