I'm not aware of any feature like this, and I think it's a totally rad idea. I fully support it!

Im not sure what it was for...maybe nes/snes or amiga. It was a sort of fantasy football game (as in american football) a rather violent one with weapons that could have been used. Another thing I remember is that you could play with someones decapitated head although Im not sure ig you got a point for that. Maybe the players were vikings...not really sure.rzepak

On the home page it states that there is a first lookat Band's peripherals but when I hit the link the video doesn't start and the only thing on Band's gamespace is the old harmonix ceo vid.

Is this a glitch or am I doing something wrong?

DarkManiaN_1979

According to Alex, the video was taken down at EA's request.

Judging from the (bugged) Super Stardust HD review, it appears that component scores are back!

[EDIT]

Here's a picture of it:

Time to make my case for video reviews:

- They take quite a bit more effort to make than regular text reviews. It takes me around an average of 15 hours to completely produce a quality video review, sometimes longer than it takes to fully complete the game that is being reviewed!

- You have to be skilled in more areas than just writing. Not only do you have to write the review script and rate the game, you also have to put together audio/visual elements to complement your narration. Not to mention being comfortable speaking to a camera lense for an hour or so. :P

- It's much easier to get feedback for your work through the user comments on the video's page.

- Also easier to see exactly how many people have seen your review with the times viewed counter.

So here are some of my picks for video reviewers who I give the seal of approval for this emblem:

Kenshin836 - He produced a review show called MUGS (Mega Ultimate Gaming Show) for the GameSpot community a while back, and his own reviews that he made were very well put together.

Darrogamer06 - Makes video reviews at my level, 'nuff said.

Slunks - Very good at ad-libbing his commentary, but he already has the 500 emblem.

mjcarrington - Also very good at voicing his opinion in a well thought-out manner.

Now onto my work, you can take the video comments as my recommendations :P:

Super Paper Mario

Jetpac Refuelled

Enchanted Arms

Alien Hominid HD

Grim Fandango (Featured video)

Elebits

Call of Duty 3 (Featured video with 16k+ views!)

Trauma Center: Second Opinion (Featured video)

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz

This may seem like unabashed self-promotion, but any chance on doing this for video reviewers (like myself)?

Is there no HD download version of On The Spot ?

350rat

On the Spot is not distributed in any form of HD for various reasons, one of the biggest ones being file size. Even in the relatively low resolution that they are right now, they are still around 300-400 megabytes. The HD version would be roughly 3 to 4 times as large in file size, and that's just not practical to distribute for a weekly show.

How about a total video views stat, like the one on TV.com?
