The only Ys games I ever played were the First and Second ones that came on the Turbografx CD (props to anyone who remembers that) and then replayed then on the PSP. I know there have been a bunch in-between but I'll probably pick this up.

@super_tramp_4th This seems to be the new big thing. With Assassins Creed 4 and Need for Speed Rivals both having something you can download online that will let you surpass collecting resources (ac) or points (nfs). Perhaps its a way to cater to people who aren't "Hardcore" but who want to see everything the game has to offer?

@tempertress @LilRoss2k3 by the by, the original xbox sold 24 million and the 360 has sold 80 million. Even though I really don't like the Wii, I would call that pretty successful.

Fallout 3 had a weird type of "hacking" game.
