I ordered a pair since I've been considering them for a while.... Unfortunately, it appears Amazon has been taking them for a joy ride while they're "out for delivery running late."
Even though I knew this was the case, it's really unfortunate. I hated BoTW but somewhat like this one, however I would take a new wind waker or N64 era Zelda game over either of the switch games in a heart beat.
Luckily they haven't stayed exactly with the same formula for too long, so hopefully even though it's here to stay, that just means they can reach in the bag every now and then and not that every single Zelda going forward will be these 2 but bigger (read emptier) and the experimenting is relegated to 2d games if they ever even make another new one of those.
All those fixes and the most important feature still didn't make the cut... And that would be the ability to skip that Merlin gazebo cutscene, the trials are already tedious and then you're forced to watch that video over 90 times.
One delay for a game is cool after they've announced a date for it... Any delays after it and we're getting into cyberpunk levels of doubt... And that was a single player game, this is probably going to anthem levels.
@chriss_m: They can always drop some garbage even when all the ground work is perfectly laid before them. Just see all the resident evil movies/that Netflix show, the silent hill movies, probably this upcoming mario movie with the laziest VA for Mario, and warcraft.
Guy is part of a company that has released the same game like 90 times over a 10 year period and somehow people still haven't stopped buying it. Of course, wouldn't be able to use his brain when it comes to why games that are in niche categories or don't have a multi-billion dollar company backing them would jump at the exposure while also being paid for the access as a safety net in case it doesn't catch on.
Heh not too sure how I feel about the blighted bullet change, already read a "guide" mentioning technomancer was the worst to solo with that didn't even make mention at all of the blighted bullets or their capabilities for melting things, now they're changing them up to try to make that "guide" seem accurate.
@returnofsoma42: As someone that tried nearly all of them when it was time, Walmart, best buy, and target were all having cart problems. Don't even get me started on Amazon showing me the Xbox one x for 45 minutes until the series x was officially sold out every time I refreshed the search for it. I managed to get the ps5 from Best buy and the Xbox from Walmart but I had to refresh the cart a bunch of times before either console stuck to one.
