Activision is trying to cash in on the Battle Royale experience at the expense of the consumer we get it but how can you really call this a black ops game when the game revolved around a story and now its just a same old large map with lots of killing until there is a winner?

Be interesting to see how they are going to stuff microtransactions/lootboxes into this because let's face it, this is Activision and their first priority is always to the whales with gamers an afterthought. Anyone trying to justify this move to themselves needs to stop and just admit they are doing it for the money and the experience is just a watered down version of old COD while charging you the same bloody price!

The use of the name is just a repeat of what Ubisoft did with The Division. Hype.

You don't think it has anything to do with the fact that people used Game Pass to learn how awful the game was so they didn't have to waste money on it and Microsoft have disabled it to encourage sucker sales maybe?

@robbehG: Those are not features. They are elements within a gameplay mechanic. You may as well say the ability to jump now in PUBG is a feature but it's simply an addition to an existing gameplay mechanic.

@hazelrelic: Exactly. It needs more than a single game mode that is basically a rinse and repeat only to start again with nothing and having to do it over and over to justify a player base retention and cost and PUBG simply does not have that. Even their rush to mobile is pointless because nothing you do in the mobile version is connected to your PC or Console version.

@dlCHIEF58: You are comparing a completely different genre set in a very confined space to a massive procedural open world that requires exploration and time to expend without reward. Not quite the same thing.

@alexofburg: To each their own and if you are enjoying it then i'm happy but my comment is merely opinion as are most of the low budget reviews on GS. The others are incentive driven reviews lol.

@doodoflife: I know right? Imagine that! Some actually watched streams and read reviews before coming up with an opinion rather than spending their hard earned cash on crap. If more people did that the Triple A gaming industry probably wouldn't be so insidious :P

@robbehG: All you did there was make light of differing mechanics but how does that constitute innovation or addition to whats already there?

@fivepercent: You got that right. I just prefer a game not built for children. You know the ones. Those with challenge as opposed to never changing repetition :P

Did this game even warrant a 'Beginners Guide'? Nothing changes and your only form of 'Progression' is through cosmetics. From start to finish you have exactly the same stats although you may have new colours on you weapons and ships :P
