Work has been crazy recently. I have no desire to mess with the internal time clock. The shop closes, I can't find the ladies that sell the clothing after 10pm. It really kills my desire to keep playing this game, why does Nintendo hate night-time players?

I'm almost embarrassed to admit I was primarily a Nintendo gamer. My first Playstation was a PS3 in 2010. I think I picked up Batman: Arkham Asylum, Soul Calibur IV, Motorstorm: Pacific Rift & Modnation Racers.

Oh I forgot...Destiny and Destiny 2. Most. Over-rated games. Of this generation. They had great gun-play but they forgot to make a fun-game with that great-game-play engine.

It's really tough, because PS4 has gotten some good remasters and has produced some amazing exclusives. I personally still think PS3 is king because it was my first Playstation system. So I got amazing PS2-era collection/remasters. Playstation was still making amazing shooters (Killzone 2 & 3, Resistance 3) and amazing arcade racers (Motorstorm series) and Sucker-Punch was killing it with the inFamous series. Media-molecule was giving us our creative itch instead of being stuck in development hell. Plus it was the generation that gave us (or the best of) Burnout: Paradise, Bioshock: Infinite, Red Dead Redemption, The Last of Us, Uncharted 1, 2, 3, Warhawk, Starhawk, Little BIg Planet 1 & 2, Resistance 3, Killzone 2 & 3, Motorstorm: Pacific Rift & Apocolypse, Batman Arkham Asylum and City.

Fornite by a mile. Any game that makes non-gamers/casuals obsessed gamers is just a fad bound to fade in-time. I can't believe it's still going this strong.

Uncharted 4, Mario Odyssey & Breath of the Wild are solid 8's but not the 10 out of 10's they got.

Breath of the Wild is hard for me to be objective on because it has grown on me but as I was attempting to get into it (in March of 2017), all the praise of "masterpiece" and "game of this generation" was making it hard for me to like it because it was sooooo-over-hyped. Plus I had chosen to play Horizon: Zero Dawn first which to me was a far better game so to hear the "masterpiece" praise and "game of the generation" on zelda just rubbed me the wrong way.

I think it's rather obvious that exclusives alone don't sell a system, but Nintendo and Microsoft haven't figured out that multiplats + exclusives = gang-buster! Now what they have figured out is the continuous stream and indies + exclusives on a handheld-hybrid = really good sales.

Didn't some of the gaming media journalists play a demo or vertical slice of anthem (or watch it get played behind closed doors) recently? Wasn't the overwhelming feeling that it wasn't all it was cracked up to be or did I just dream this up?

Back in the mid-90's. Star Wars Dark Forces, Star Fox 64 got me hooked.

In no particular order (and I couldn't get it down to just five)

The Dark Knight

Spider-Man 2

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest

Gladiator

Star Wars: Return of the Jedi

The Martian

Guardians of the Galaxy

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty
