@cboye18:so true! The title should better say 'Ghost Recon: Wildlands Feels Like It Should Borrow More From Naughty Dog games' !

I seems like Gamespot is trying to make publicity for Ubisoft lol. Since when "other Ubisoft games" can be taken as a reference to inspire anything good? In average their games are poorly realised and far from what you would consider true AAA games

@darthrevenx: you have to know that almost everyone that tries VR becomes a believer, because its that more mesmerizing than just having a far away static screen in front of you. With todays graphics VR is certainly to stay because its compelling. Its not for nothing PlayStation was planning to give to Game shops more than 400 000 stations so that ppl can test VR. This high number means that after surveys the rate of adoption is overwhelming so they are willing to commit and show it to ppl.

@brightsunbeam: I once had the same opinion as you but if you go on youtube you can see this matter being debated enough to understand that they actually put those millions to good use (into the game I mean). And you can also see on their channel a lot of info every single week. This standard wasn't reached by any other game producer before Star Citizen, nobody invests as much to communicate and get feedback from the community on a game. An average AAA game needs around 3-4 years to get built properly, Star Citizen is above that right now, however the project is crazy ambitious. I was saying the same thing as you about the price of the ships but you dont need to buy it. You can work your way to the ship with ingame earned money.. I guess these space ships are for those ppl that either have too much cash laying around or simply want to help financially the project.

@silversix_: I actually think that VR can help Ubisoft gain back some customer confidence they lost over last years. The thing is that VR doesn't necessarily need a strong narrative to be compelling, here actually the graphics and authenticity of places u see have a much more important role than in usual games so as long as they keep us entertained showing us stuff, they will have our attention

This makes me worry a lot for BF1! It means they dont have good production artists in their team and the level of quality of every game the'll release will stay at the same level of shitty as previous years

@darthrevenx: We have to talk in relative terms here. Up until Modern Warfare 2, COD campaings were actually in line with the quality of the AAA games that were being released at the same period of time and user ratings were reflecting that. You dont like cinematic artistry.. fine, however the majority of people that played MW enjoyed them greatly, tastes are diferent. At that point in time, those campaings were like movies in terms of artistic realisation, directing, music, acting, plus graphically it was amongst the top there was. I dont mean they were perfect but campaigns used to be close to the best that was available on the market. COD was making efforts to deliver comparable AAA content. However the cleavage today is simply huge. We cannot pretend that COD was always the same as today. The fact is that they realised they could bs ppl into believing that they have great campaign & multiplayer. Their marketing strategy is sadly very efficient and plenty of ppl jump on the hype train every year

@NTM23: Of course having a new setting can be a good thing, but the problem with COD is the way they implement it, its a joke, its like having DLCs and not actual full games released every year. copy paste copy paste repeat, I really hope their way of managing this franchise gets scrapped and rebuild in line with an AAA game they pretend to be
