I think the author of this article totally misses the point. People were lead to believe that all their choices over the 100s of hours of time spent on the three games would impact the ending. Then when you get to the ending of the series its like none of your choices mattered. That would be fine if Bioware did not let people believe that their choices would actually impact the ending of the series. Coming up with a better conclusion for the series does not seem difficult. I thought the endings of Dragon's Age: Origins were well done as well as the prior two ME games. SPOILER ALERT: There is a theory out there that the ending is a hallucination. This would not surprise me, but then what it means is that Bioware did this in order to sell DLC for the real ending. To me that is exploitative, but it would stand to reason given the strong writing the entire series up until the very end when the writing just took a huge dive.

I agree with the article. You should not have fundamental plot points delivered outside the three primary games. I played the Shadow Broker & Overlord DLC and thought they were well done (and I normally hate DLC). Still people who did not buy the books or DLC should not miss out on plot points. It makes the story feel incomplete.

Been playing the demo. The single player portion felt not very good compared with the prior two games, so I am hoping the final product will be better. I'm playing on the PC and find combat a bit difficult because the sprint button is the same button that you use to go into cover. So when I am trying to sprint across an open area when the enemy has their back to me I end up going into cover halfway across and getting pinned down by the enemy. Does anyone else find this frustrating that the cover button and sprint are the same?
