IN the past when I have got those error messages I have accepted them and then just submit again.

I normally do not get the error message again - and it normally accepts the text and posts correctly.

Can only assume that when I accept the first error message it is cleaning up any text that might be incorrect?

I also think that a lot of the time they don't mention that it has come out, just announce the 360 and ignore the xbox version of the game.

i.e. NFS most wanted etc.

Last time I checked - just before the 360 came out they were offering a £50 trade in against it. Weren't saying how much prepared to pay cash.

My guess is if you are looking for cash around £20 as they probably couldn't sell it for more than £60 due to the low price of an xbox.

Did either of you find that the game seems to be too fast on your system - just trying to move slightly causes your whole mech to totally swing around.

Never checked mouse sensitivity - might have been that - might check it when I get a chance - but any thoughts would be appreciated.

I don't understand what some people have against Mech 3 - I enjoyed it so much more than Mech 4. Mech 3's machines had a sense of weight to them - even Mech 2 didn't manage that, though it was definately the best of the three.

I mean wth was up with Mech4's cockpits...and 'explosions'...and briefings/plotline - twas all god awful my friends.

Hell Yeah! That's one of the main reasons I loved Mech Warrior 3 some much over other Mech Warriors. The Mechs in that one felt bigger and heavier. I thought the story was pretty epic too. I loved customizing my MadCat with two PPCs and taking out other Mechs from long distances. Ah....great times.

I still love MW3 over the MW4 (except for perhaps mercs due to its greater gameplay and leading 2 lances). The graphics seem better (less cartoony) - the chassis are more adaptable, the script is better - fantastic opening movie, and then you get cool things like the arms move and target -- and you can stomp on people and blow them away. How cool is that.

lonewolf - its basically to do with the arms.

In mechwarrior 3 you could move the arms to target - thus by moving the mouse you would move the arms around without having to adjust the torso to find your target. Pick one of the mechs without arms (Puma - I think) and you will notice that you need to swivel the torso to lock on.

In mechwarrior 4 they decided not to include this option (Pity)...

And yes you should be able to use the joystick and keyboard at the same time in Mech 3, but it is much easier using a mouse for Mech 3 due to the ability of arms being able to move - trying to do this using a hat function on the joystick can be awkward..

Joystick is pretty cool for mech 4, but mouse is still easier.

Boy did I love that game - came with AOL and you could even play it on dial-up with virtually no lag.

You even had unions within the armies. It was pretty cool and even though it was not the most graphically advanced game, the gameplay was pretty awesome and some of the concepts were pretty cool.

Always did wonder why AOL/Whoever pulled the plug on it - it was a pretty thriving community.
