no problems with it at all... the previous owner took super good care of it... almost obsessive... I do need to put a new belt in though... yeah it's the VR6...if I floor it the pedal clicks in close to the floor and all of the sudden it takes off so fasstt... also has that special auto/manual transmission... can't think of the name right now.
Tiptronic? Yeah, it's cool, but not accurate, and not as fun as stick, but if you use it a lot, it does help you a little as far as listening for shift sounds when you get a manual.

I drive a 2001 VW Passat wagon.... I work constantly so I can make the payments... it was my best option... plus I can fit 8 freshmen and 2 surfboards in there hahahahhproctorsurf

They discontinued the RSX because of the success of the Civic Si.
The Mazda 3 is nice, but design wise is very dated. They'll probably redesign it or refresh it in a couple years.
I actually like the design of the Mazda 3 (4 door, not 5) and I know about the RSX. My future brother in law has one, a 2005. Maybe ill buy his....Is it a Type-S? Not that it really matters unless you'll be ragging it out, but they are pretty nice design wise. Idk if I trust Mazda enough to actually get one of their cars. Granted they are japanese, but they don't have the greatest reputation. Edmunds loves them, but I'm still skeptical. Yeah, this guy i work with was telling me that theyre unreliable and such. He told me to go with either Toyota, scion, lexus, honda, acura. As far as my knowledge on cars go, theyre pretty much all the same companies. I like the scions. Especially the tc. Im in the market for a new car, and I wanna stay under $15,000. And by "new", i mean "post 2002". You can find 2005-2006 tCs for that price. In fact, with a $15,000 budget, there are a lot of really nice cars that you could probably get ahold of. Yeah, i just need to set aside a weekend and go look.If you see anything that you are considering, you can msg me and I'll tell you if it's a good deal. I work at a dealership, so I know how to deal with pre-owned cars.
