@at0m1x: Atlus is known for doing this. Persona 3 originally launched on PS2 and then did a re-release Persona 3FES with additional content.

Persona 4 was a PS2 game and then went Persona 4 Golden for the PSVita. It came with enhanced graphics, better gameplay mechanics, additional characters and story.

Persona 5 was originally created on PS3 but came out with PS4 port. Persona 5 Royal is giving enhanced graphics, new characters, new levels, and a whole new semester, hence why it isn’t simply DLC.

Persona 4 also had a fighting game sequel called Persona 4 Arena which then got a sequel Persona 4 Arena Ultimax (both on the PS3). That furthered the story of the characters and connected them to the characters of Persona 3.

This is Atlus’ business model in which they redo their games. However, I would argue that they are released much after the original (and are significantly better than the original). Persona 5 is a game that is almost 3 1/2 years old. Furthermore, they add to the lure of the franchise they have created. With Persona 5 Scramble on the Horizon, I’m guessing the new character (possibly characters) will play an important role in the sequel to persona 5.

I love this game, and have every single ending in the original. However, I can’t justify paying the $60 for a game I already own. With Borderlands and Death Stranding around the corner, I have to wait on this one.... I am sad

So Philip is the new district manager who just so happened to relieve the old district manager (because they fired them) because the company is dying and they are progressing through each store; going through each store systematically by the most senior manager to let them know “their services are no longer needed” and that he isn’t the “bad guy here”.

“Interested in learning more about the world... peruse your email!”.... why the hell would I want to read an email to tell me more about a game?

Is anyone else worried that they said part 1 will be mainly in Midgar? I LOVE FFVII, but Midgar was such a small part of the actual game (5-6 hours tops). Does Midgar alone warrant a $60?

@Holy-Rapture: Joker, which is funny because Mark Hammil is voicing chucky in the new movie
